Vizada (formerly Telenor Satellite Services) offers high-quality direct-dial phone, telex, fax, electronic mail and data connections for maritime applications, flight-deck voice and data, automatic position and status reporting, and direct-dial passenger telephone, fax and data communications for aircraft; and in-vehicle and transportable phone, fax and two-way data communications, position reporting, electronic mail and fleet management services via the Inmarsat, Iridium, Thuraya and Globalstar satellite systems.  In addition, Vizada offers a variety of fixed (VSAT) satellite services, both on land and at sea.  Vizada’s fixed services allow customers to access the world's premiere satellite systems, including but not limited to Intelsat, Eutelsat, Loral, New Skies, and Satmex. Vizada services are used for disaster and emergency communications as well as operational communications from areas beyond the reach of traditional communication solutions.

The teleports that Vizada uses are well-known to many of the offices of the U.S. Armed Forces (particularly the Navy) and the U.S. Coast Guard.  They are built to the highest quality specifications in the industry and have redundant access to terrestrial networks.  In addition, Vizada’s owned teleports are an integral part of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).

Vizada has a proven track record of understanding and satisfying its customers, whether they are seeking mobile applications or semi-fixed or fixed site connections.  Its extensive product portfolio of innovative, cost-effective communications solutions and value added services offers a full range of broadband and on demand voice and data communications options.  All of the offered services are described in detail in the attached Contract GS00T07NSD0035.

Ordering
An eligible entity may order satellite services directly from Vizada or request GSA to place its order with Vizada.  For direct orders, please contact your Vizada Sales representative, or Vizada’s Customer Care Department at 1 800 685 7898 (North America) or +1 301 838 7700 (worldwide). 

Vizada’s Customer Care Department tracks each order for hardware and/or service using its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.  Your order will be processed by a member of the Vizada Inside Sales Team. 

The Inside Sales Team also is available to answer your questions about Vizada’s services and equipment, the ordering process, and rates.  Personnel are trained to help guide your selection of equipment and service that best meets your specific requirements. They have access to paperwork you will need to submit your order, such as the Form DD1155, and can help you to complete the applicable forms.


Vizada accepts task/delivery orders submitted by e-mail or facsimile.  Once an order is received, Vizada will review the paperwork to confirm that the following information has been provided:

  1. GSA/FAS Contract number GS00T07NSD0035
  2. Task/delivery order number (supplied by ordering office).
  3. Ordering Agency / Unit / Division name, address, and the Point of Contact (POC), with phone number, fax number and e-mail address
  4. Vizada’s contact information including the CAGE CODE (see below)
  5. Duration of service, including start and end dates
  6. Payment Terms:  Net 30 days
  7. Office responsible for payment with name, address, and the Point of Contact (POC) phone number, fax number and e-mail address
  8. Mailing address for invoices
  9. In the case of services ordered for activated terminals, the Serial Number of the terminal
  10. Total dollar amount of order
  11. Signature

Billing and Payment
Vizada invoices its GSA customers in U.S. dollars, addressed to the office specified on the order for submission of invoices.  Payment may be by government credit card, electronics funds transfer or by check, following directions specified on the invoice.
