Aussaguel, France
Situated 25 km south of Toulouse, France, the Aussaguel teleport began operations in 1980 providing telemetry, tracking and control (TT&C) services for the France Telecom satellites.
It was one of the first teleport facilities to route digital Inmarsat traffic in the early 1990s starting with aeronautical services and followed by M/B and C. The facility occupies 37 acres/150,000 Sq. M and covers AORE, AORW and IOR Inmarsat satellites. Aussaguel also hosts the main European Globalstar hub, and is an important CNES (French Space Agency) TT&C site.
