Situated near Toulouse in France, the Aussaguel teleport is a reference in the mobile satellite industry.
Operational since 1980, the facility occupies 37 acres (150,000m2) and covers the AORE, AORW and IOR Inmarsat satellites. It also houses the infrastructure to support the latest IP-based services including Inmarsat BGAN, FleetBroadband, SwiftBroadband, ThurayaIP and Iridium OpenPort®, as well as Vizada Solutions™ such as Terralink™ Data Manager and web compression via satellite.
The teleport represents a technical center of excellence, with some of the most qualified and experienced teams in the industry operating and maintaining the station and IP network, as well as constantly developing IP-based satellite solutions in line with customer needs.
Vizada’s leading Customer Care department is housed at Aussaguel, working with the team in Rockville (MD) in the US to provide 24-hour support, as well as training and expertise sharing for partners and end users at the Vizada Training Academy.
