Vizada increases capabilities in SwiftBroadband market

April 6, 2010 - Vizada increases capabilities in SwiftBroadband market and prepares for launch of SwiftBroadband X-Stream.

Vizada is preparing now for the upcoming launch of Inmarsat’s newest aeronautical service, SwiftBroadband X-Stream by developing an information campaign and training program to ready Vizada resellers throughout North and South America.

SwiftBroadband X-Stream offers a minimum 256 kbps streaming channel for Class 6 UTs available over the entire I-4 satellite footprint. SwiftBroadband X-Stream provides high throughput enabling a seamless broadband connection and simultaneous voice and data communications suited for both cockpit communications and cabin applications. The projected commercial launch date is April 2010 and is expected to draw demand from government and commercial users.
