BGAN X-Stream: Vizada launches unparalleled streaming rate for Inmarsat BGAN services for video transmissions

Inmarsat has launched a new, guaranteed streaming data enhancement to BGAN services at a minimum data rate of 384 kbps, up to 450 kbps. This improvement is available for all BGAN Class 1 terminals from HNS and Thrane & Thrane, without additional hardware costs.

The Source^®: Existing users and new subscribers can access BGAN X-Stream higher data rates now. For existing users, simply select the SIM card in The Source, go to “Package details,” edit the IP services and select BGAN X-Stream as the highest quality of service. New users can easily have BGAN X-Stream capabilities by choosing BGAN X-Stream as the highest level of IP streaming during activation.
